He has a background in engineering research, having completed a PhD in Chemical Engineering at Loughborough University, focusing on interfacial science and renewable energy. Following his graduation, he worked as a software developer in the UK focusing on healthcare tech, as well as supervising research into optimising cancer triage pathways.
